Great Question!
All Physiotherapists in Australia undergo either an undergraduate degree or a post graduate degree to obtain their qualifications.Physiotherapists working in more specialised fields then need to undertake further training to allow them to do so. Physiotherapists working in Pelvic Health are qualified either by following the course work pathway OR a post graduate study pathway through University.

In Australia, Physiotherapists are ‘first contact practitioners’ which means no referrals are needed.

Absolutely! I have a HiCaps machine onsite, which means you can claim on the spot.

If your GP has referred you via a Medicare Enhanced Primary Care Plan (EPC for short), they will often give this paperwork to you and send it to me via a secure online messaging system.
Please note I do not bulk bill these appointments. You will need to pay for the session upfront and Medicare sends the rebate back to your nominated bank account (similar to the GP system!)

GPs or specialists can email me your paperwork or send via Medical Objects - a secure online portal used by Health Professionals.
